I've got an RX-V2600, I connected a Sony BDP-S301 through it to a Sanyo PLV-Z2000 and was pleased to see the 1080/24P passed through without problem. The issue is I want the higher res audio formats decoded internally in the BD player.

What other BD players will force 1080/24P ? Will the Sony BDP-S500? How about a PS3? Any others?

Todd

The PS3 is the only one I know for sure forces 1080p/24. I "THINK" the Sony and Pioneer players can force it as well.

Patience has its rewards.

I believe you can with all of the Sony, Pioneer, and most if not all of the Samsung players. Panasonic is the only brand I know that can't be forced (most models if not all) of the ones I have tested.

125" Projection | 5.2.4 Audio | Shield TV | LibreELEC/ODROID-C2 Kodi Media Client | Ubuntu/ODROID-XU4 NAS/Server | 65" LG OLED TV | TiVo | Shield TV |
| Water cooled PC - i7-8700K - NVMe - RTX 2080 - 4K 43" Monitor |
