Only in Canada you say?
What kind of by-law would municipal counsels come up with to prevent trade ins? (Note the following from BB) And we elected these guys?
*October 21 - 27 2016 valid in-store only. Due to municipal by-laws, trade-in is not currently available in: Surrey & Kelowna (BC), Winnipeg (MB), Sudbury, Woodbridge, Richmond Hill (ON), Granby & Rosemere (QC). Trade-in hours may vary from store hours. Check BestBuy.ca/TradeIn to confirm participating stores or see in-store for details. Trade-in values can vary depending on condition and games must include boxes. No duplicate titles accepted, regardless of console. Some titles may be excluded. Stores not able to take consoles for trade-in can still give customers a $50 credit towards the purchase of an Xbox One when an old console is traded for recycling. No dealers. One trade-in credit per Xbox One console purchase.
Note where I live - Sudbury It figures!
