I just got an update for the player, although the LG Website doesn't acknowledge there are any! Anybody else get this?

Me too, I'm surprised that after all this time we're still getting updates. I wonder what it does?

Updating as well. I hope it doesn't change my settings. I have it set to RGB and 16:9 Full.

It seems faster with slightly better PQ.

I've done several searches and have come up empty handed. Unit seem to function perfectly after the update with no change in anything. I have a few reference 4k discs that I am going to pull out and see if I notice anything different at all in the scenes I have watched and re-watched in the past as 100/100......

To Be Continued....(maybe).

Thanks for any advice.
Have you done a recent sync with your Harming remote to the MyHarmony program?

I lost functionality for powering on/off my AppleTV after a TvOS upgrade that was fixed with updating the remote with a sync.

Thanks. Yes, I had already done it a few times, and tried to re-program, but it didn't help either. Very weird.

Well, I re-positioned my gear and it worked. Probably I did something stupid. Thanks for the help, I will delete my original post.

Blimey - the UP970 has a firmware update out of the blue...
This takes us to SW version BD39.338.91219.C

Mine installed - not sure yet what it's fixed/changed as it was very late.
YouTube is doing HDR correctly - didn't get a chance to load NetFlix.

After some testing of several disc, on this player. RGB appears to be the proper color space to use. YCbCr seems to compress dynamic range and color. Dolby Vision looks exceptionally detailed, colorful, with lots depth and highlights that pop while the player is set to RGB.

HDR10 works fine under YCbCr and is actually the right color space, DV no. Atleast on my display.
