The player is available on Amazon (UK and IT for sure, the price around 230 euro), and other retailers both online and B&M.

Build quality is nothing to write home about, pretty much all plastic. The remote is small but I already learned how to use it in the dark.

Menus are simple but complete, disc play is quick and almost silent. Image quality is the real winner here: I only used an LG 970 on my system before and this is far superior.

The only problem I found is with my Blu-Ray and UHD rips on my NAS, for some reason the player will not play the Atmos audio track, even if they work gloriously on the discs.

That would be an interesting point compared to the previous UB420 which converted DSD signals to PCM.

If an early buyer of the UB450 and owner of an AV receiver decoding native DSD could try it out and confirm it?

Thank you
A close relative who already owns the UB420 just bought the UB450.

Therefore I can confirm that the UB450 is able to decode DSD natively. With the proper AV receiver you will get native DSD as input, without any PCM conversion.

However, the gapless playback option from UB420, UB820 and UB9000...

If you press the blue button while displaying the playback screen of an album or similar group of songs containing a sound source recorded at a live performance or concert (a music file containing songs that are recorded continuously)*, you can perform seamless playback without gaps between songs from the beginning of the selected folder or track.
* AIFF, DSD (DFF), FLAC, WAV
... is now gone

Native DSD without gapless playback....

Any word on whether the UB450 has the HDR Optimizer feature? Is it confirmed that it supports auto Dolby Vision selection? I've seen some reviews saying it doesn't DV at all, which is confusing.
