I watched Alien last night and I made sure I cleaned the disk before I started it and boom, the same problem right around the halfway mark. I'm thinking it may be at the point where perhaps it's a layer change and the player is getting hung up. I also watched a few regular Blu-rays and have had zero problems. Should I return the 420 for another unit or perhaps upgrade to the 820? Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Ive had the same issue with my ub400. ive watched endgame flawlessly, and then had it hang up in the same spot on the fight scene near the end. wondered if it was a buffering issue.
I returned the unit for another ub420 and have watched 2 ultra blurays without any issues.
