Netflix also ending support for many BD players

Besides old Roku players and some Vizio TVs, Netflix will also be ending support for pre-2012 Sony TVs and some Samsung TVs as well as many Blu-ray players.

WOW! Reports are, after only 4 years of Netflix,They are stopping support on Vizio TVs. Now it's Blu-ray players! I'm so glad I saved all my old DVD'S.
My winscrew HTPC with DRM movies, copied with WMC, are still doing fine.

With streaming services going under,I think we need to get our heads out of the clouds, wait,I think I'm turning into my parents!

Based on your link, it's old devices due to this: "The main reasons is that Netflix is moving from apps that have 24fps frame matching to 60fps frame matching and many old devices do not support 60fps."

Sony A9G, Oppo 205, Parasound JC2, Parasound A21, Sonus Faber Olympica IIIs
