Dennis Eriskine Designed Home Theatre Completed

Hi,

I completed Home Theatre with basic layout designed by Dennis Eriskine with a lot of help from this forum about a year ago. I have been planning to take some good pictures of the theater for a year but never gotten around to doing it.

So, today, decided to post with whatever pictures I have taken from Iphone. My setup consists of Dedicated Home Theatre with an adjacent room for parties and motion gaming. All Equipment is located in one cabinet with wires running to both rooms. I use logitech harmony to control both rooms. Designed the setup so the kids can enjoy their video games while adults are watching movies or kids can watch movies while adults have a little bit fun of their own.

The whole project took 3 years to complete as I am located in Pakistan which complicated everything in regards of equipment purchase etc. However, the result is very very satisfying to say the least, much better than anything you will ever experience in a commercial theatre.

Is that an illusion or is that screen wrinkled on the top left?

Beautiful room thanks for sharing. I bet living in Pakistan does in fact make things a little more difficult to procure.

Thankyou guys, I will try to post better pictures later.

Yes there are a few wrinkles at the top, but the hardly bother me and I am just being too lazy to get them out

If somebody who is currently building home theatre has some questions, I shall be glad to answer them.

What size is the room? Did you do any soundproofing like double drywall and green glue?

My house is constructed of bricks.
I used rockwool for insulation which is behind the "Red" cloth.
The rest of the room was covered by 2 inch thermocol sheet covered by wooden laminate.
The floor was covered by 2 inch carpet underlay and 2" carpet.
