TV mounting (temporary TV)

Apologies, if this is the wrong location for this post.
Mounting a TV above a fireplace (it’s the only place for it in the room, the way that we’ll have it layed out). Want to drill through grout so as to not damage stonework that is already there.

In the attached picture, 3/4 of the drill points line up with grout, the 4th does not. It is difficult to line up any mount to any of the studs, as can be seen.

Stone facade is ~1” thick,+ drywall and backer.

The fireplace is gas and there are no electrics above the mantle.

Is it ok to use h/d toggles for mounting a 55” TV (Samsung KS8000), that will then be retired for a 65”+ later?

Are you talking about putting the toggles through holes in the grout line? It's certainly within the weight capacity of the toggles themselves, but whether that can keep the TV on the wall depends on the strength of the wall surface itself. I'd be hesitant to do that on just 1/2" drywall, but with the stone facade it may be OK.

It’s got drywall, facade and plywood backer.

With a plywood backer I'd have no worries about using toggles.
