Never used dead flat paint

Redoing my home Theater room, I tried a few paint for the wall and the ceiling to get the least amount of reflection as possible.
I end up with a behr pro dead flat black limousine leather.
This make the room beautiful and no light was reflecting to the screen.
Whoa it only lasted a week and plenty of finger mark were on the wall.
Trying to clean them makes it even worse.
As Mississippiman said never use dead flat black.

So I follow his recommendation and apply a new acrylic latex matte black which could be cleaned

Because they have hands w/Fingers, and it seems that when you have Black Walls people just have to reach out a touch them.

Then there are Kids, who touch every surface just because it's there.

Doesn't matter though...using a dead Flat Latex just isn't advised under any circumstance when simply switching to a Flat paint with Acrylic content eliminates all the worry.

@smoke90 forgot to add in the "Acrylic" designation. All Primer/Paint combinations qualify as such.

I'm "touched"......but never flat.

I agree I only used flat on my ceiling and just installing the HVAC registers caused marks that I had to paint over. You breath on this stuff and it leaves a mark I would never use it on walls but to each his own.
