things to consider when choosing a wall mount....

Hi Everyone,

Just bought a 65' OLED TV (LG C9PUA Series OLED65C9PUA), and was curious what I should look for in a wall mount?

I will be mounting on a brick wall above my fireplace (fireplace won't be used most likely), and don't really need the TV to tilt. Would be nice if it extended out a little to get to the cords (if I used the fireplace, it might keep heat away from TV?)

Anyways, I'm thinking of just buying the best selling wall mount on Amazon that is compatible with 300 x 200 VESA mounting, but am curious why there is such a massive price difference between mounts and whether or not the pricier ones are really worth it.

Appreciate the help!

Don’t cheap out on the wall mount...I always buy Sanus wall mounts. They have a Great Wall Mount finder application on their website. How high will the tv be mounted? You may want a tilting mount if it’s above a fireplace. How high is the fireplace mantle and how far back will you be sitting?
