Strange Artifacts in Audio when Streaming Movies

Often when I stream movies from Vudu, Netflix, etc, I can hear faint blurp sounds in the audio during intro and end credits music. I assume this is some artifact of compression. I only hear this when streaming movies. I stream in HD from Vudu, and whatever Netflix uses by default (I assume HD).

Has anyone else noticed such weird blips in the music on streamed movies? They are most apparent when the music is softer.
