Need options for recessed lighting

I'm will be putting in recessed cans and lighting in my home theater and am getting information overload doing internet searches. My room is 18' X 23' with 8' ceiling and based on various calculators I need 9-12 remodel cans. What I really want is a smart wi-fi type light setup I can control the brightness in addition to the color of the light.

Anyone done this and if so what products did you use? I'm also thinking these 9-12 remodel cans need to be 6" cans, does that sound right?

Thanks
Dennis

Sony VPL-VW285ES Projector / Denon AVR-X6500H Receiver / Aircom T10 Cooling Fan
Sony BDP-S790 3D/Blu-Ray / Sony UBP-X700 4K UHD
Pioneer DVL-909 Laserdisc / Lexicon LDD-1 Demodulator
Samsung DVD-VR375 DVD/VHS

Why not go with can-less LED lights? https://www.acuitybrands.com/en/prod...ssed-downlight

They are ~$15 a pop on Amazon and are super easy to wire/install.

Thanks for the info and links. While it doesn't have the option to change the color (not a big deal) it does meet all my needs and the reviews are solid. This will fit my needs.

The same manufacturer makes a model where you can select the color temperature, 2700k, 3000k and 4000k if my memory is correct. Browse through their site, they have a ton of offerings and their products are all well rated and not cheap knock-offs.
