EVGA Nu Audio Pro audio card for HTPC

Hi all, just read this review of the EVGA Nu Audio Pro audio card for a PC. Do any HTPC owners use this audio card or anything comparable? what do you think of it? it says that if you use your PC along with an integrated amp, you will notice a huge improvement in sound compared to using the onboard audio card of a motherboard.

No, i was told it would be useless cause the DAC would be done by my AVR rather than the audio card.
