I love the video they did with this BD 5.1 remix. More BDA should attempt this IMO.

Band member Ray Shulman did all the video/visuals for the BD mix. Pretty cool of him to do it. He is a graphical designer now. I would like to see more video and visuals in BDA as well.

That's a bummer. I think the three of us ordered RO:B&WN within a day of each other. Mine arrived this past Monday but in my experience ordering items from across the pond can be highly variable as far as actual delivery. If it's sent via tramp steamer, gets caught up in Customs, etc. Hope it's in tomorrow's mail!

My Orbison BD finally arrived today. When I took it out of it's cardboard shipping envelope I noticed it wasn't shrink wrapped. It was opened. The stickers that should have been on the shrink wrap are stuck on the plastic case. I've imported discs before and don't recall this ever happening. Did they pass off a used one as new?

Sounds pretty hinky. What shape is the disc in?

The disc looks to be in good condition. Will try and play it later. Just seems like they pulled a fast one on me.

A fair number of new CD's from the EU do not have shrink wrap on them from the factory.

Didn't know that. I wonder why?

Played my non shrink wrapped UK Orbison last night. What a blast. Seeing all those musicians on stage jamming together was great. I caught myself smiling and tapping my toes several times. The A/V isn't reference but with music like this you quickly forget about it and enjoy.

This is CD/DVD combo set. Listened to the CD the other day and decided it was time to fire up the DVD. First off, it's B&W, 4x3 and 2.0. But that doesn't matter. Seeing these guys in their prime is simply awesome. A very young Johnny Carson introduces each one. That's amore, baby. That's amore.

Hi Waboman,

Just finished watching it, my first time. I've had it for a while but hadn't moved it to the top of the pile and decided to give it a spin tonight.

I give it 4 - 5 . I have no complaints, good PQ and sound track is DTS Master Audio. I enjoyed it and I'll watch it again in the future.

I'm glad I didn't. I watched this last night and was very pleased with it overall. I have a high end system so no excuses. The video is spot on, they do occasional quick cuts but nothing as bad as the Adele disc. Regarding the audio, there are maybe two or three tunes that have the lead vocalist slightly recessed. They are audible, just into the mix more. You actually hear more ambiance due to the mix. It is in the beginning of the disc. I also noticed it goes away and the concert itself keeps your foot tapping to the end. If you like any of the three artists you'll enjoy this performance.
