Multi-channel Opera Blu-Rays

My father was a huge Opera fan. He's now in his early 90s and a few years ago he gave me his LP collection. While not as enthralled with Opera as he (I came of age, musically, in the late 60s and early 70s), I periodically pull out one of his operas and give a listen. I do love the beauty and majesty of the music of much of the operas I've listened to - and it helps to have a wife who was a classically trained vocal performance major.

Having built a decent system for multi-channel music, I'm looking for blu-rays, preferably HDR, with multi-channel audio tracks. Any suggestions others have enjoyed would be most appreciated, if such things even exist as yet.

Thanks!

There are many good opera DVDs and Blu-Ray discs. Many have 5.1 audio tracks as well as stereo. I have no interest in HDR. I have the (perhaps incorrect) impression that only UHD discs have that capability.

A good starter - Three opera set: La Boheme, Tosca, Turandot

Thanks. That looks like a good one to start with

I have yet to purchase a Blu-ray opera that wasn't multi-channel. All but one are DTS-HD Master audio. Usually 5.1, occasionally 5.0. I only have one 4K UltraHD: Mozart - Le Nozze di Figarro (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1). There are plenty of very enjoyable ones out there. Hard to recommend without knowing what you like. I'm not a big fan of Italian opera, with my tastes being more for early-mid 20th century ones. Favorites, with excellent sound, performance and visuals are:

Berg: Lulu (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Berg: Wozzeck (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Schönberg: Moses und Aron (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Debussy: Pelléas et Mélisande (currently a steal for only $ 7.80) (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Korngold: Das Wunder der Heliane (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Bartok: Le Chteau de Barbe Bleue with Poulenc: La Voix Humaine (2 for 1!)(https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
