I am sure they have some canned answer that makes no sense in the real world but it should never happen that way.
Yup... recently my top item was "very long wait", the next 11 were all short wait and no wait for the following 35 item. So, what shipped next, yes, the "very long wait" movie. It had an expected arrival time 3 days later, obviously not from my local distribution center, while the second item to ship was from my no wait items and was expected the next day.

7 of my top 9 are on short wait. A couple of weeks ago there wasn't much new that I was interested in and my top couple were in long/short wait so I put in a couple of old things that I haven't seen in awhile (like, from the 70s) or never saw in the theater (only saw them on TV with commercials and cut up and edited). I figured I coulsd maybe get one of each, but, no that's not happening.

Last week I got one of my second 10 top pics and one from the oldies (about 5 or 6 down from that one). I am now also getting more DVDs on newer pics, even though I select BR. I see now that two of my top 10 say "shorter wait on DVD."

BTW, the other two in my top 9 show no wait, so it will be interesting to see what happens next week when I return these oldies.

I'm really starting to reconsider if it's worth it anymore. Which may be ultimately what the are hoping for.

They did it again, a "Very long wait" selection shipped today ahead of many no wait selections and "Short wait" items. Expected arrival, tomorrow so likely from my local center.

Last week must have been a one-week-wonder.

Back to getting a movie outside of my top 10, even though some of them showed as available.

I'm on 2 at a time plan, I only turned 2 disks last week, looks like I'll turn 4 this week. I'm sure it has to do with the USPS.

And yes my top queue items have been in a wait state for several months.

OPPO UDP-205, LG OLED65C8, OPPO BDP-93, Pioneer Kuro Pro-150FD, Dynaudio 2x BM-12a Mk III Mains, 2x BM 6a Mk II surround, 2x BM 14s Subs, Allan and Heath MixWizard, room is 11'7"x 16'6"x 8" dedicated and treated. Tripp-Lite UPSs/power conditioners (because my power isn't as clean as it used to be)
