Although I already have the German release of the Paul Walker crime/drama, I decided to try out the newer release from DFW (Dutch Film Works). Despite a DTS-HD Master soundtrack, the video transfer is a considerable step down from the German release. The Dutch release is MPEG-2 and is encoded as 1080i. This will wreck havoc for anyone using 1080/24p in their system. The German VC-1 disc not only looks better, but is a proper 1080/24p encode.

You have to fiddle around with the menu on the German disc to select English audio and turn off the German subtitles, but this is the version of the film that is recommended.

Mmm, i 've got the BR version of this title also from DFW.
On the cover it says 1080p.
I will have to check though if this right nor not.
If not i am going to return the disc.
