Need to disconnect DAC's USB everytime I change source on laptop

I have Musical Fidelity V90 dac. Everytime I switch to a different source on my laptop, Spotify, iTunes, VLC or Youtube I would need to disconnect and reconnect the USB cable. Any ideas on how I can resolve this issue ?

That is consistent with there being a bug in the DAC's driver. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer for help?

A workaround might be to do a driver reset. One way to do this is to select the device in the Hardware Manager, then Disable it and Enable it again. There also are 3rd party programs which claim to do this for you.
