Question Sony CDP 725 VS ....NEW?

I have an old Sony CDP 725 5 disc changer from 1993 +/- and was wondering if the sound on this would be better than a new NAD C538 or Cambridge Audio TOPAZ CD10?.

My Sony needs to have the front display fixed but seems to works fine but is a pain. Considering the work involved should I turf the Sony and get a new CD player .

Thanks

I'd be hesitant to spend money to repair a 93 era player.

I wouldn't think so. DACs have come a long way in 26 years. With 32 bit dacs costing less than 10 bucks you can do better with a more modern player. My Oppo UDP-203 uses the AKM 4458 vn dac. It's 768 kHz/32 bit 8 channel and a single one costs 5.50. A manufacturer buying hundreds or thousands gets them much cheaper per unit.
