Teac AH500i or AVH500D Integrated Amp?

Hi all.... Having a hard time deciding over these 2 units. First, the obvious difference being no 5.1 vs. full 5.1 ins & outs, & if I even feel like going down that 5.1 setup road again..been there & done that...& pretty high end.. Apogee Duetta II's, Velodyne 1200w sub...yadda yadda...ALL GONE by choice. Then, on paper, the simpler AV500i seems to have a lot better audio section specs...dist., seperate, & is also made in Japan, where they tended to use some better components in strategic places. My multi unit is a Denon DVD3930CI, which plays everything, & though I own only a handful of DVDA's & SACD's, everything else is regular CD's & movies. Just thinking that when I have more permanency, I could upgrade to a high level of 5.1 amp, if I choose. Right now, I seek simplicity & chassis size is definitely an issue, which is why I'm looking at either of these 2. Any thoughts, opinions, or comparisons out there if the Asylum? Thanks much!!
Kenny
