Mytek Brooklyn Bridge Wireless Streamer/DAC/Preamp Impressions?

I'm drooling over this thing but wondering how it would integrate in my home theater... is it worth the price?

I have a Yamaha RX-V683 and SVS ultra speakers / sub ... would this be an improvement since the Yamaha can't really do hi-res audio? The price is quite high though and I'd probably need an amp to go along with it right?

The performance of the Brooklyn (without the streaming part) can be found here:

If you want to spend 3000,- have a look here:
Substantially lower (1000) but still measuring very well:

If this is your AV:
It is perfectly capable of 24 bits / 192 kHz at least when using DLNA

What is it that you’re trying to accomplish? Do you want a new DAC? Do you want to try streaming?
