Well there is no doubt that many among the audiophile community had embraced SACD, but that's hardly what being questioned here.The point is, this is a niche product and in best case it will remain as such, in worst case it will fade away completelly, by something new down the line.Sony should had hired marketing people from DTS. ;)

Pulliamm,

How about grabbing that Primare CD21 on Ebay that's still at $500 before it's gone? I have the same unit and boy, did it make a big difference that all the CD players I was using before. Check it out.
