Please recommend sub $500 SACD players. Here are the criteria

1. Should support 5.1 and 2ch stereo
2. Good bass management, needn't be super sophisticated but should allow me to choose small or large speakers and a particular crossover frequency would be an added bonus. I want to use the direct analog pass through in the Anthem AVM20 and avoid converting A->D in the pre-amp to do bass management.
3. Should have excellent quality DACs

The 2-ch stereo output will be passed through a tube pre-amp
The 5.1 ch will pass throug a solid state Anthem AVM20 pre-pro.

Budget is slightly flexible. Changers, or DVD-A, Video etc are not that important.
Thanks,
-Jai

I have a Cambridge Audio DVD89 and not only does it have an absolutely silent transport the SACD and DVD-A sound is comparable to my Denon 2910 (which absolutely *doesn't* have a silent transport). The CD sound isn't quite as 'crisp' however - although my wife calls it 'warmer' and likes it better. CAD price is $490 so USD price has to be under $500. Check out their website for the awards it's won.

In my experience, only the higher end Denon's[2910 and up] do BM right, especially concerned the infamous LFE loss/boost, that only Denon seem to address.
