Does anyone know if the Eclipse line of car subs are/were made by TC Sounds? I have seen some good owner reviews.....

I don't think they are. The only thing similar between the two that I can think of is the aluminum cone.

Yeah they were made by TC Sounds.

As were the Lighning Audio's.

TC designed and mfr'ed some of the Eclipse drivers, not all. This included the Aluminum Series and the Titanium and Titanium Pro series as well as the SW8000 and 8200 linear drivers. - all of which are now discontinued.

I hear the 8200's and Ti's were pretty good drivers.

Thanks, Kyle....is it safe to say ALL Eclipse aluminum coned models were built by TC?

I had a pair of the original eclipse 10" aluminum cone subs made by TC....the best bass EVER in my car....this was 10 years ago.

I do not think the later aluminum subs were TC made....and i have heard they were not as good.
