Do any of you have stateside dealer contact info for 18 Sound?

I've been comparing the 21NLW9000C to the B&C 21SW152 in WinISD, and I'd like to get pricing on the 18 Sound product.

http://www.loudspeakersplus.com/prod...OUND21NLW9600/

You will probably have to call for a price.

US Speaker carries 18Sound as well but doesn't list the 21NLW9600. They do list the 18" version and it is more expensive than the street price of the 21SW152 or 21SW115.

BTW, the 21SW115 models very similar to the 21SW152. The 152 has a bigger coil and likely would handle huge power better, but I'd be very surprised if there is much advantage below 2000-3000 watts continous.

Here is the 115: http://www.savinglots.com/lotprod.asp?item=21SW115

It is about $80 cheaper per driver.

How about the RCF LF21N451, it's way easier on the wallet.

Regards,
Dan

Hi NEO Dan,

I'm not familiar with RCF, who are they?

I'll plug the driver into WinISD...

Eventually I am going to get a 21nlw9600 to test but they are pretty expensive. Usspeaker quoted me at $879 if I remember right. They do not have a whole lot of dealers statewide yet. Both the 18sw115 and the 18nlw9600 have been klippel tested. The 18sw115 looked a little better IMHO and it is cheaper. Both were great. Danley was using the 18sound and switched to the b&c. Don't know why but fwiw.

If ordering from Savinglots be careful to check what impedance of driver you are getting. I received 8ohm. Didn't know it existed at the time. Wasn't listed by b&c.

How much was the quote on the 18nlw9600 and why would you choose this over other drivers out now?
I ask because I can get this where I am and I'm considering the 18 sound product line 18 or even 21 inch.
Thanks

Hey Ricci,

I'll likely stick with the B&C product; I'm merely a sucker for carbon fiber. Looking at doing a PPSL alignment, and considering similar performance, the 18 Sound driver would look really cool... I know, I know, but coolness has its place too

Hey i am still curious enough to want to try their 21 for myself....BTW I noticed the carbon fiber option on their website too. I have no idea what the upcharge for that is though.

There is a small pro audio operation that is authorized on 18sound too. RatSound run by Dave. Just use google. I am going to purchase from there when I do.
