Great I have a psycho stalker...

Judge has afforded me lifetime protection.
They will use "up to" necessary-force, without-notice, even with only indirect-communication made, and providing only reasonable-grounds as evidence.

That's just about the strongest possible order that could be imposed on a free agent, stopping short of just throwing a person in jail as-is.

It's nice that they will do all the dirty work for me, without me having to get into any trouble taking things into my own hands.

Not that I overly-need any protection... LOL!

Authentic and registered Japanese black belt + a pan-american Japanese.Karate.Federation winner.

At full force I can drive the entire mass of my arm into just my first knuckle at high velocity, directing it into your retina or ear hole, with an accuracy of about +-2mm's. The resulting psi force is immense. Leaving you deaf or blind.
(You may have 400inch biceps, but your eye and earhole sure doesn't. )
I can also kick your knee cap out, proceeded by a heel kick to your spinal column or throat. That's pretty debilitating too.
I also love to upper-cut jaws at hyper-close range (boxing style).
If you rush into me, I'm known to counter-rush with both of my fists simultaneously and thus adding your forward velocity to my own, quadrupling the damage-force. (The faster you move into me, the harder you'll get hit back.)
At close range I also like to break fingers, wrists, elbows, poke out eyes, stomp toes, and crush marbles or kick camels.
Or all the above.
Unfortunately... all my training is composed ONLY of really-dirty street fighter moves.

If during an encounter my face ever looks "afraid" or "confused" it's only because I'm trying to figure out how NOT to immediately send the person directly to a hospital or the morgue. It's really hard for me because they are all really bad moves (that shouldn't ever be used, unless truly needed...)
Just sayin'

If I ever come to the USA , ill call you for some training action. I am one of 311 people who completed the training to become a frogman, later trained Mossad members in hand to hand and knife combat and im pretty good at, well.... killing with my bare hands or anything that i could grab....

I actually have decent enough biceps. But I'm also smart enough not to get myself into trouble in the first place. That being said, as a powerlifter using rudimentary but still relatively fine-tuned leveraged movements I can sort of relate and certainly respect what martial artists are capable of. It is amazing what the human body is capable of when you add physics, fine motor control, and a whole lotta skill together.

Still, it never hertz to be careful.

What’s next in the movie room...do have any plans on changing the setup around maybe more 24’s in there you have good amps to power them. My vote is to buy 7 more 24’s and port them in big LLT boxes.

There is lots of stuff to be done:

Replace the 2 Crown XTI's with 2 FP14k's.
Replace the 2 EP4k's with 2 FP14k's.
Replace CA-30 with 1 or 2 FP14k's.
Buy a SurgeX SA protection for my UPS, which protects everything (but amps).
Finish my DSP app.
Buy a dedicated fanless miniPC for the DSP app, running Win 2012R2.
Buy another 24ao and a 24ai and a AVB hub.
Buy the other 48 XLR connectors.
Buy a powerful split-ac for the rack.
Buy another 4+ SSR's for the rack.
Buy an Atmos processor with 4K support.
Buy a 4K projector.
Buy a 4K player.
Build Atmos speakers, including rear top center, and front top center.
Buy a fanless miniPC run newest esxi for music serving and surfing web.
Buy an enterprise-class firewall/router/wifi.
Buy a glass door for my rack.
Buy another door for rack entry.
Buy hiss-less amps for tweets and mids.
Build a box for my 24.
Build two new HzHorn boxes, with solid bracing this time!
Build another two boxes for a secret project.
Mentally breakdown and cry in the corner.

Why does that protection order have British spelling in it? Is this from a court in the UK?

5.25years later and I'm still working on it.
Of course it doesn't help that i keep buying sound gear rather than room features.

I should probably edit post 1 to include the new outside that i put on in the summer. That alone was like 2 grand.

I need to find an additional $30k to finish the room/gear properly. I'll get there, eventually...

OK, where is the explanation of the restraining order? What post number?

Denon 4300 receiver. Infinity speaker setup (SM line which is SM-122 up front an SM-82 in the rear and ceiling) along with a center channel (not SM line but maybe I should swap it out). Xbox One S source for Blu Ray and 4K blu Ray. Sony XBR850B.

Protection order.

A restraining order is like: don't sell your car during a divorce or leave the country or empty accounts pending blaa.
Offence: fine and court appearance.

Protection order is typically: no contact forever. (Move to mars... please.)
Offence: Jail time. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.

I had to google it to understand the difference myself.

That said: restrainting orders can also be rather restraining too, depending on the nature of it. hehe

Learn something new everyday, interdasting...

Games are the only reason a person needs a super-computer these days, even Google-Contactlenses have enough horsepower for web-browsing these days. People don't need 3(or more) 4GHz cores to open Grandma's emails.
Even battery-powered handheld-phones are fairly fast at doing basic games, and most everything else...

I've seen a 4 threaded CPU process upwards of a 1 million transactions per second, in real-time, with only 8GB of ram, for customers of various businesses... so even for businesses that much power is often enough (except for database-servers.)

Unless you are doing medical molecular-research, or AI, or trying to render hours and hours of 4K animation like Pixar, then I can't see the need of a single Nivdia Tesla or Intel Phi.

We are getting to the point where games are the ONLY reason why we need substantially superior computers at home.
That and maybe PVR'ing 9000 hours of 8K-360-VR-3D on an single SSD etc...

Maybe we can go smaller and lighter instead, thus able to play Crysis2020 @ 900TeraFlops with 1000 hours of battery-life using Google-Contactlenses. I'm sure the nerds will dream up a reason to add more computing-overkill and open our wallets once again.
People have always said that no more power is needed. When User interfaces and Word came out in the 90s, people said there is no reason for more CPU MHz or ram.

There is a need. It's a chicken and egg thing. Give developers more power and you get better sotware and even new markets. Who would have ever thought something like Facebook could be possible. Take time to see what Facebook does from a requirements perspective and it is insane. And it is a global architecture!

As for consumers, yes .... it's mostly a need to play games. NVidia is demoing a ray tracing card this week. It sounds like ray tracing is finally coming to consumers for real time rendering in games! It was a matter of when .... now the horsepower is there!

I need more GHz, not cores. Cores are nice to keep thinks in the Operating System User Interface smooth but I need more GHz at work. I do software for CAD and a lot of what CAD does is single threaded by nature :-( Give me a 8 GHz Intel chip with two cores and I'd be happy as ****! Physic might have us capped at 4-5 GHz until some new chip tech comes along.

Finally bringing 4K to my theater (2019):

Bought these today...

4K 60Hz HDR 12Bit Dolby-Vision UHD BD Player
and some more ram for the HT-PC and DSP-PC 16gb each (because why not...)

Sony does have an 800, but I don't need any features that it might have.

I have some other goodies in my cart but haven't pulled the trigger on those (yet):

But that would then complete the 4K upgrade...
Then I just need to build some Atmos heights.

The projector is laser so the "bulb" will last much-much longer. I'm sure I'll be fully bored with 4k before it fades out or dies, especially considering I've had my bulb-based DLP 1080P for 10 years now... I suppose it's time for a projector-upgrade me thinks!

The GPU is totally optional of course. I may wait for the RTX2050 because I'm not a hardcore gamer. Right now I'm limping by with Integrated Intel graphics (which is unusable @ 4k with just video, let alone gaming...)

I've been a fan of ray tracing technology since the 90's, real-time being merely a fantasy, but FINALLY the hardware IS HERE!
This technology is a real game-changer and will only get better/faster in the future...
All the fake reflections and shadows and fill-lighting and pixel shaders can now mostly vanish.

This will not only speed up movie and game development time but will also bring real-world realism for all pixels with no effort from the user or the makers. Thus: Better looking movies and games that come out sooner!!! Win-Win. This technology is sort-of a big deal...

If you were responding to me, I was referring to the projector choice. JVC has the better black level movie experience.

I'm more interesting in long-life rather than ultimate blacks.

I've seen OLED screens so I know how good blacks and high nits can be. It's really too bad 120" OLED's are unobtainium... One can dream!

But literally anything has got to be better than the entry-level projectors I've been running up till now...

I'm trying to keep the costs somewhat reasonable as I know 8K discs will be out probably by the time CES 2018 rolls around knowing my luck... and HDMI 9999.9z

Processors, Projectors and Computery stuff is useless the moment you drive it off the lot, if not before you even buy it...

That's why I'm avoiding the RMC-1, 8805, 9905 and Trinnov. I have the money to buy all of them but I don't WANT to. Planned Obsolescence. I like money as much as I like bass, if not more so...

The UHZ65 isn't "too horrible"
It's better at pitch-black, and brilliant whites, with a very sharp image overall.
The non-lasers have better dynamic-blacks and often more natural colors and skin tones.
If they put a dynamic iris on the UHZ65 it would do even better...

At some point you have to call it "good enough".
I guess we can't have "good blacks" and "long life" and "good color" and be "cheaper" all at once.
(Not yet, at least...)
