Hey guys, I hear alot of people talking about getting clone amplifiers. Can someone explain what that means and what brands these are? Are they good and reliable?

"Clone amp" is an odd AVS euphemism for counterfeit/pirated Lab Gruppen amps from China.

Though there are some legitimate clone amps, where the design of an older proven amp is copied but the resulting product is given its own model number and styling. A number of them are based on a QSC design, such as the Behringer EP series and a Tapco model.
