chalugadp -> Again I'm a noob, I just want to make sure... There are two slot ports? One on the bottom and one on the back? The 2 slot ports connect to make one long large port?

smitty,

the dimensions for the mini marty and the full size marty are a bit different. Do you still want the info for the full ( the pm you sent me today ) , because it looks like a few post up your going with the mini marty?

Either design will work and if your building 2 that will be even more awesome.

I just got back from two days away. I go to a known hotspot ( usually 100° and dry) but it rained cats and dogs. Grrrrrrr.

chalugadp -> After watching your video... I think I'm going to make the same one you made, but the full version. I will not make it vertical, yet use these as stands for my speakers.

I then will make a new TV stand so everything fits on my short wall.

Your video and another AVS picture post really helped me understand the slot. I now know it is a port on the bottom and the back, to increase the overall length, and if it does but up 100% I can just use the caulking to make it flush.

One odd questions I have... How do you connect the speaker to the inuke... I didnt watch the entire video yet. I'm guessing it will be in there.

Also if you could tell me ALL the connection and material (minus the tools) I need that would really help.

As well will a staple gun work instead of the nail gun? I have no nail gun... Also will a screw work? I can borrow a drill...

Thanks a lot man!!

Staple gun won't work. Glue and clamps work , its just a lot slower. You need speakon cables from monoprice and one of these

chalugadp -> Is that everything I need for sure? I want to make my list and order all when the SI woofers are in stock.

Can I use a drill and screws instead of the nail gun?

Thanks a lot for the support dude!!

chalugadp -> If I use the same cutsheet as you posted above but just make it 8 inches longer, would I need to change the port lengths or no? I wish to keep the same tuning as you listed above.

Thanks.

yes, you'd have to change the port length otherwise tuning frequency would be higher. Make the full marty, you have the space, it's worth it. You won't have to change anything from the design.
