I cant imagine anything more important than your health. I can attribute, weight loss, shingles and GURD to stress. Its a killer for sure, and those are minor compared to MS......

Take care and enjoi life !!! Its so short

PS i wont tell anyone you are cooking my up some vintage SI15's for my LilWreckers :0)

As of Feb 20th still looking for a Marantz SR7010

Best wishes to you!

If it's any 'consolation'- my former mother-in-law was diagnosed with MS in the mid-1970's; she's still kickin', just turned 87 and has lead an active life. You can, too- good luck!

I hope everything gets better for you, Nick. I was putting off ordering some HT 18's but you've forced my hand. I just placed my order and can't wait to get them installed. Thanks for everything you've done for the DIY community. I can't imagine what you are going through. I was in the hospital once for about a month because doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong. It ended up being my gallbladder but without your health nothing else matters.

I hope nothing but great health and continued success!

Regarding your subs do you have pictures?
Thanks for the links. I'm already on a trial, which is why my health is good at the moment.

Pictures of the drivers are on my web page.

I have a friend that has MS and they went to one of those A4M anti aging doctors and it was practically a miracle turn around. They got off gluten, balanced hormones, etc and are perfectly fine now. Apparently traditional medicine only treats symptoms and doesn't focus on cures, plus they can't prescribe anything that's not FDA approved and the FDA doesn't approve nature, only synthetic patented drugs.

Nick, you have been an absolute pleasure to work with and I wish you nothing but the best. I just received my 4 x HST15s and 1 x HST11 yesterday. It looks I need to get my order in for my last two HST18s so I can complete my collection of 4 HST15s and 4 HST18s for my living room.

I pray your health stays consistent Nick. I've had numerous medical setbacks myself so I definitely understand where you are coming from. Thank you so much again for the HS-24 subs. They are by far the best subs I've owned.

Nick:

As someone with Crohns (not nearly as serious as what you have) I can understand the need to manage stress. It causes me to flair as well. Sorry to hear man, guess I better hurry up and buy my HST-15 soon.

No doubt that stress kills, I had an organ fail as the direct result of sustained high stress levels. Sucks you have to step back but you have a good reason. Peace be with you!

In full disclosure I will be coming out with a 4" coil 18" that will still be attractively priced (higher than the HT but lower than the HST). It's been in the works for a while now and I'll make at least one small production run of them and see what happens. I've talked to Jake at Sundown Audio and he will be taking over the sales and support on the 4" coil 18" as I will no longer be involved with direct to consumer sales. Here are a few pictures of the prototype:

First, I hope your stress level does indeed go down significantly and it has a very positive effect on your health!

Second, I have 6 HT18s due to arrive tomorrow and will be tested and stored for my upcoming builds, they will go with the 6 I already have.

Third, the new driver looks very nice and depending on specs I can certainly see a few of them in the theater as well!

@ Nick

I am sorry to hear about the news. Your health is number one priority and this time. I fully know how stress can be a big factor to health. I have Crohn's disease and i know that stress is a big factor to my flare ups or to just feeling poorly. Not only does it affect you but also family and friends. I am currently taking additional meds on top of my regular Crohn's medcine in order to help keep me from stressing out.

I was planning a build with the sh-ht18's but that has been put on hold for awhile due to my medical condition and the added bills it causes.

Wishing you the best of health
Matt
