There's one thing I want to add that I forgot to post is the room with deep notes feels and sounds like being in a car. So that part is achieved now to get the punch back in the subs that I had before. I wonder if that fq changed when I took up all the air space behind my chairs. There's like no room now.

Mike these really turned out nice - great workmanship! A few quick questions/comments from your REW graphs:

1) Did you have any other subs operating in your room when these graphs were made?
2) I wonder if the difference between the "east / west" graphs; could be room gain (one unit is up against the wall, and the other one is open on one end to your aisle)

Thanks Craig it was a lot of work and I'm happy the way they tuned out to. You have a good point about the west side box its right next against the wall and the other has the walkway next to it.
When I took these measurements I only had the amp on that I I was measuring everything else off. The avr sub setting was all the way up as normal when taking measurements to.

Very much so.
I hope the landlord will help me out building and box! Oh, and I hope my other Adcom amp is repairable. I took it to a shop yesterday.
It'll give them a good 850 RMS (at only 0.9% THD). I'm sure that will be more than I'll ever push them. Not sure the actual output at clipping is.

To be honest I never really recline that far back in the last row because of the riser height not being as high as I should of built it. I thought it would be a cool picture to show if I did take the seat back that far. The bottom subs also have about 2" inches clearance so they won't hit the anything and get damaged.

Okay, now I can congratulate you on your build
How do you like the DuraTex? Did you roll it on?

Thanks man! I like the Duratex paint and learned a few things rolling it on. I bought the roller from menards and when you first apply it you can change the way it goes on by just going over it a few times. Doing that made the texture a little smoother. It now looks like a Pa cabinet that is store bought. Another thing to is when using drywall mud you can see everything that was missed when the black paint goes on.

Omg that box would be crazy!! I like your thinking my vote would be to do it.

8 Infinity 1260 Custom Wedge Box and Tactile Riser Build

Wow what a crazy couple of days it's been. My entire room is in pieces... All my chairs are out of the way I ran new wire to my 2 subs that haven't worked from the start. I guess I should start from the beginning.
I hooked everything up and got lots of bass but at the same time I wasn't getting the upper cut from Mike Tyson that I was looking for in the subs. So I thought my self well I haven't added in any filters to the new subs that were right behind me maybe it's that. So I started to play around with some test tones from rew to see how the subs looked at 20hz. And that when things went down hill.
I noticed that 2 of my subs in the box weren't really moving and there really wasn't to much sound coming out of them. So I started digging into this. I talked to my buddy Mike Schmidt on the phone and we both thought that after all my trouble shooting it might be the inuke amp because I went over basically everything. So I switched amps and the same thing... I took the subs out of the box and noticed that on the back of the cabinet I accidentally switched the wires around. Cool I'm thinking easy fix this thing is going to be running in two mins. I put the subs back in turned on the amp ran a test tone and the same thing. Long story short I switched out the neutrik connector with other side of the amp and that was it. I bad neutrik connector. I don't have any more so hopefully guitar center has some in stock and I'll have it going in the morning. What a day!!! I officially hate neutrik connectors.

8 Infinity 1260 Custom Wedge Box and Tactile Riser Build

Today was a great day! I bought 2 new neutrik connectors from guitar center and hooked them up and also had some weird setting I must of clicked on for the deq on the inukes dsp settings but all is fixed and running.
I had about 5 mins to play some stuff and see how they sounded. The build was worth every penny. The bass is insane in the room now I definitely gained more output than what I had before. The bass has the lows and the Mike Tyson punch I was hoping to get. I'll try to get some videos of the subs moving in the morning since I ran out of time today. I gotta be around 136-137 db in there now with room gain. I stood in the middle of the room and had all 12 subs going it's really loud now and sounds good to. Happy man here!!

137 db! that's insane! that must sound like a diesel engine ploughing through your room. Congrats, glad your build exceeded your expectation, by a lot...

Thanks Craig smiling ear to ear and glad its finally done. Now to run rew and start that fun! I was up really late for a few nights because things just weren't working right down there and I lost my reat surrounds for some reason. When I installed the HTPC there must of been a hand shake issue or something I still don't know how it happen but after going through avr settings the rear surround were just turned off. Kinda strange but fixed now. top pic is all 8 subs together. This is with the mic in front of the subs 1 ft. this one is the east subs.
the one above is the west subs.
I haven't had time to change any settings until now what you guys are looking at are the first sweeps of the sub boxes as of 10 mins ago. Time work on this.

Haha I'm getting there my rack now rattles it never did that before. The subs are pretty crazy for being 50$ each. I really think this is a great bang for your buck. After doing this I wonder how it would sound of I used hst 11's or something different that's more money. What would I gain and would it be worth the money???

A bigger woody when the bass drops, and IMHO thats ALWAYS worth it

Off topic slightly.... do you have a date for your next GTG solidified? I'm prob gonna try to make it but need to give the wife a heads up since I will basically be gone all that day.

I may try to drag a couple local guys with me as well.....

5 tb. A lot of them are compressed. I'm trying to get uncompressed videos on there now but a lot of movies you really only watch once in a while or around holidays so... Blurays are anywhere around 30-50 gb from what I've been told. I'm new to this game and trying to learn more. I'll take a video of kodi in a few my kids are watching the Lego movie right now in the HT room. I might grab 5 more tb today if I have time before I leave for work. I'm out of space and need more.

Glad you got it squared away Mike, that's awesome!!!

This is all 7 seats in my room. It looks like I need to do some work in the 100hz to 200hz area big time And a little from 13-100HZ range to. This isn't great but not to bad so far. After easter I spend some time down there fooling around with this some more.
