Are these the flat packs from Erich?

Also how did you make those holes for the speaker terminals?

Thanks.

My listening experience so far is that they really begin to perform when other speakers won´t keep up at really loud levels (deafening levels) and still sound clear and without any audible distortion. When testing i highpassed (R/L) around 40-60, driven by 2 bridged Rotel 980BX (360w).

Sweet!

What did you use to mold the ports? Looks like a glass jar or something like that?

If I was the designer I would be a bit impressed by your flaring upgrade of the original.

I like it. Please share the glass sizes.

And hurry up. You build at the same pace I do...

Nice work, Altz! The extra switch was integrated very nicely, and the port flares are a sweet touch. I wish I'd thought of trying that, even though I think the air speed is pretty low at the recommended tuning frequency.

subbed nice build. I plan on tackling 3 893's from DIYSG around christmas time when I have the money to replace my cheap Dayton Audio LCR. Wanted the 1099's but no room for them AND a center that can keep up.

Thanks!

I know it wouldn´t be a problem unflared but it´s a "feelgood mod" and easy to make so why not
And it also makes my ports a bit shorter than the original design (about 0,25") not much but maybe the port tuning will be a bit higher of some degree.

I cross them over at 60-65 Hz.

A lot of people forget to post up reviews, but it sure does help others pick the right speaker for their needs, and helps us know which direction to go in. Surprised how few there are for the HTMs and Titans.
