Nope I didn't mess up, came together nicely.

I should be able to do some of the routing today.

The 5th panel is just drying now, then I'll add some braces. Nothing too crazy.

Bracing and 6th panel is just drying now.
In about 45minutes I should be able to route the 1st panel of 3, and then take some more pictures.
I took all the stuffing out of my MBM's and never used it for the new MBM's so I'll put some of that in this box.

8 of 16 NF, Compression Sweep

THD NF on the highest sweep:

All 16, EQ'ed @ LP (3m)

Not bad for $90 drivers in undersized sealed.

FML

I had to put it on a car blanket and drag it from my driveway to the back of the garage.

Then I had to dead lift it into a wheelbarrow

and now it's at the door of the HT

How do I get it out without dying?

You know your driver is heavy when: it can suspend a heavy-duty wheelbarrow vertically by the lip...

My ankles, knees, back, elbows and wrists, and well everything... is killing me now. Excellent Smithers!

Now have a hole and bracing.
I'm running out of time so I think I'll just clean up the saw dust, put the binding post in, throw some poly in it and run it up-firing for now.
Then look at adding the other 2 panels sometime in the next few months.

I want to see what it sounds like and see how well the fp20k pushes it.

Ok attempt # 2...

I was trying to be smart and did less than SI listed on their site.
I figured it might be insufficient, but I just had to prove it to myself in my Aspie/Aut/OCD ways.

After just over a year, the 24 is finally done-ish.

I guess I have more space back there than I though with only 1 row of seats. (i.e. time for more subwoofers! )

That's a full 8ft sheet resting against the front row, that's the drywall that I was gonna put on the door to make it ~1.25inches thicker and ~110lbs heavier etc.

There appears to be an air leak from 2 of the nylon threads killing the <20hz performance, gonna have to fetch them out somehow.

FYI: I was able to clip the fp20k 1ch @ 20hz with the SAB-24, even with the leak. Excursion was pretty crazy though...

Perhaps it was already mentioned, but what was your rationale for putting this into a very small sealed cabinet, as opposed to a ported cabinet? Just the sheer size the ported cabinet would've been?

I wanted lots of 1-10hz from it.

It would basically have to be an IB-sized box. LOL

Nope I think it is the wood that is warped by a half mm that is causing the air leak.
Gonna have to add a 2nd panel FOR SURE now!

Oh well, I'll just use it as-is for now...

Quite a few times a sample is mentioned on this one, and min is 15 to order

Dont know if theyre getting hopeful that someone wants this bad enough they buy a few or what, but I do see less offers of samples on the listings now as well.
