If you model this in WinISD it will not show the model with inductance. So your modelling skills are probably just fine for WinISD but you just need to make sure you get an accurate model using HornResp. It changes the response quite a bit and needed wattage also.

Are these new SP4 HT line a new design?

Because we have seen the SP4 HT version tested a while back on Ricci's site. Week point on the old design was the glue point at around 36-38mm. These design after you broke past that epoxy point was pretty huge from what I can remember. I think it was a soft bottom design. But these may be a new and completely different design. FI in the past had always been know for having high inductance also. Not complaining just people need to know this for modelling purposes. I miss my old dual opposed 15SSD's.

And again do we know what these 18 SSD's will weigh at all? SP4's?

FB was definitely a better way to ask questions to FI. Responded within 6hours. In case anyone cared The FI 18HTv1 weighs 35lbs. Which is great for shipping for me. The 15BTL Neo weighs around 45lbs. Which is also good as under 50lbs is ok for shipping but over that it starts to get crazy.

Do we know of a rough time frame for these, yet? I need to decide if I'm going to cancel my Ultimax order or not.

Another huge huge win would be if these are reconable....that would put it on another level for sure ! We could drive the______ out of them and only be a recone away from new again if the worst was to happen.

I feel theres a lot left in my HT-18`s, but with the closest replacement double the price, I am scared to drive them super hard. I know others have beat on them pretty good, recoability just adds peace of mind....

Just talked to Scott. The HT2 and HT3 will have around 36 to 37 Xmax and will start at just under 400 dollars for the HT2

Did he say a month until they come out like what I was told? I sent them a Facebook message and that’s what they told me. I don’t know if that was Scott who responded back or not.

Yes, he said it would be about a month before he will be able to get them on the website for purchase and to finish a few other things

I'm definitely down on getting some of these subs. Starting to sound better and better. Missed out on HST-18's and now the ultimax's are high in price.

Been wanting a dual 18" sub setup for some time now.

I want to know more about the Team and Omega subs. Where do those fall in? What do you get for spending more compared to the other subs? They offer so many lol.

The HT3 might fit that bill. I'm not sure about the mms, but he said it will handle the most power and it's a sub that you will want to put in a large ported box.

Looks like @Buddylee123 got the first pair of Fi HT1 18"s. I look forward to seeing your results!

Also looking forward to the HT2 & HT3 which @Buddylee123 said, in the link above, were going to be based on the SP4's.

HT2 based on an SP4 costing $400? Seems like a dream since an SP4 is more. Really how do the HT3s compare to the SI subs?

Time will tell as people get their hands on them and Fi releases the TS parameters.

Do we know what the diameter of the hole for the driver needs to be for the HT1 and is it the same as the HT2/3?
