i know, i know....another um18-22 build big deal, but ive been wanting to build my own subs for a long time. so i got 2 um 18's from a guy local to me he used in a suv for 2 months, plugged them in free air and no weird sounds and put a dmm on coils and read good so i bought them. just ordered inuke 6000dsp,speakons,and everything ill need. so all i need is boxes, no "real" tools to cut the wood so i have a cabinet maker local that will cut all pieces for me and ill assemble. i got lucky and hooked up with eng-399 on a fb group and he designed, and modeled the boxes for me, thanks a ton man for the help, and answering all my questions. so as soon as i get everything i'll keep posting in here if anyone cares.

Eng-399 has helped me countless times and never asked for a thing in return. I got the privilege to check out his room this January and he was the most gracious host you could ask for

Thanks eng-399 for posting that sheet and the specs, threads like this one are invaluable to those of us that are still deciding what and how to build. 08op good luck with your build and keep the pictures coming.

no pics but got measurments to cabinet place that are cutting the panels for me,hopefully have them by end of the week. missed ups,so gotta pick up amp later. and sending back sub i have now. money i get back from that is gonna be almost all of what it'll cost to make the um 18 boxes and amp along with all the misc. stuff, and should be a good amount more spl and way more low end from the um18's. cant wait to get the wood and start building these things.

Got one all done and wow.. other I finished this morning and glue is drying. I have been listening to the one although I don’t have rew to run and tune like I should, nor the inuke setup right( if someone can help me with settings on the inuke I’d really appreciate it) that said this is pretty good as is, I think I have the hp on inuke set at 20hz, and 12db crossover. Watched some of San Andreas and some mad max and seems good for now. Need a laptop, and mic so I can get rew and setup everything the way it needs to be soon.
