My 12" ultimax build

So this weekend I made a box for my 12" ultimax subwoofer. I made some pictures along the way and thought some people may like to see it and also give me some tips for my next build!
The volume of the box is 80758cm3 (2.851942 cubic feet) with a slotted port of 36 x 6cm and a length of 104 cm.
The tuning frequency of the box is 26hz, but probably more as I added some bracing (was not in original desing) and I forgot to add in the volume of the driver.
This tuning frequency is more aimed at listening to music, but I wanted it to be nice for movies too so I made it a little lower.

The sketchup model:

The driver:

Winisd:

Building pictures:

Added some bracing just to be sure......:

Paint job:

And it's in my room!:

I added the plans in the attachments if anyone is interested.

That looks great. Nice job. Nice drawings too.

You listed your box volume to seven significant digits. That's why I love this forum

I'm not an audiophile but to my ear it sounds amazing. A 12" is perfect for my room.

I live in The Netherlands and here we use cm3. In order to convert it to cubic foot I just put it in a calculator and copied the number, that's why it is so long :P

Looks amazing! You should be proud.

I really like the corner bracing you added. Great idea.

Also the white turned out nice. Especially on top of hardwood. What kind of paint did you use?

I just used some cheap high gloss white paint. I used a roller to apply it.

I did 3 layers of primer and 3 layers of final coat and I'm really happy with the result.

Jep, it sounds awesome. I listened to some music and also tried some movie scenes. The picture frame in the hallway was shaking against the wall.

I'm using a Behringer NX1000 for power, it's like the new version of the Inuke 1000. The fan is still very loud tho.....
