Nearly done with these two. All that's left is to glue the baffle, add front to back brace, terminals and secure the ports. Speaking of the ports, I didn't notice upon purchasing, that these ports don't have screw holes I'm not sure wood glue would work, so any suggestions?

Nearly done with this one. All that's left is for me to build the Mid and High section. I chose to use carpet for this build because, quite frankly, I didn't want to deal with all the sanding and painting

Just waiting on the carpet so I can cover the Mid/Hi section. My wife says she can't see how carpeting is easier than painting I think that's because neither of us has dealt with carpet in this type of application. The height of the speaker is not too bad. I haven't measured, but eyeballing it looks between 7 1/2 to 8 feet. @Jk7.2 how tall did your Titans end up being?

Piece by Piece QSC SC-2150 variant build

I wish I could be there for the initial firing up. It’s so dang fun to hear the results of just a little manual labor and a good design.
Kinda reminds me of......

As you know, I modeled my build after yours, with a few obvious differences. I'm using PA460s and I used 3 3" ports for a tune around 32Hz. I'm seriously thinking of going with a goldish tanish color for the Mid/Hi section. It should add some pop to the color scheme

If I buy them will you let me install them in your baffle wall? We could start charging admission to watch movies at your place.

You will love these speakers you’re building. Jeremy and I just have a problem wondering “what if” all the time.
Carry on. Oh, and i love your carpet wrap job. Little different approach, but they look excellent.

Man, have I been slacking So many projects and not enough time or help. I did get something done over the last 3 days though. I've pondered the thought of a single PA460 center, pictured below, to speed things along, but @Jk7.2 and @eng-399 dual titans look so damn cool

Man, thanks to @Nexgen76 , I just got a sweet deal on 4 vbss's. This will save me a tremendous amount of time and put me way ahead of schedule. So my thinking is, being as I used 3 port tubes on my original design, to use the vbss's with two ports as the LR and use the vbss with 3 ports as the center. Obviously the center channel will be carpeted and the LR are finished in duratex, but different isn't necessarily a bad thing

Thanks to @Nexgen76 , all of the hard part is done. I only have one more mid/high section to carpet and then it's on to mounting and wiring the crossovers. I've heard that can be tricky. If it were not for Independence Day, I'd have the LR done for sure. I really can't wait to fire these puppies up

@hd0823 @Mahuzz13 Does anyone know how to wire up the crossover to be passive only? I don't have the terminal plate and I can't figure out how to get sound to output from the LF. The HF/MF has sound, but not the LF. Even though I'll be running the LF on it's a seperate amp and minidsp, I performed an unsuccessful test trying to run all speakers through the crossover. I figured this would be tricky without the terminal plate.

Thanks, but I believe that diagram is meant for wiring up the terminal plate, which controls passive or biamp. I don't have the terminal plate and need to know how to wire the crossover for passive only.

Ok, I figured out how to wire up the crossover without using the terminal plate, while getting output from the LF. You have to wire the Grey/stripe to the Brown/stripe and wire the orange/stripe to the Brown solid. This presents a 4ohm load

Hmm great build. I built a clone of the JBL AM7315 with a different bass driver myself. But was looking at adding another 15 or possibly other in the future. After seeing your build the QSC and JBL mid/high horn do look very similar. JBL has a passive mid/high section and the low end is meant to be active. So adding in different drivers is doable. Definitely curious how it all comes out. I cant do the same drivers as yourself because my budget but maybe BC 18PS100's or custom 18PS100's.

Either way awesome build.
