I’m debating to buy a 5x5 wood cnc router next summer ,and would be able to make front baffles very easily .

Are you guys sealing the midranges off inside the enclosure? I guess I’m asking if you’ve made a separate enclosure internally,in order to isolate the drivers from the main woofers
There a few threads here about the 99 series(1899,1299,1099 and even the 893's).If you look at DIY Soundgroup website you'll see pictures(and reviews) of the flatpacks(No pictures of the 1299's)all the ported 99's are basically the same box design.

The mid section is sealed.

I believe they are twin 6.5" mids in the center along with a 12"Seos waveguide.Twin 12" woofers.

There are box volume calculator programs around I'm not familiar with them though.

You could start a thread about what you have in mind. You might get one of the people on here that know the programs to help.

You could also contact the designer of the 99 series and see what he thinks.(I'd start there personally).

12” for a centre channel . That’s interesting,as I thought my cc690 was big. I’d be happy with 4-8” drivers in the centre channel, and 4-10” woofers in each surround . But that’s just me .
I do like tight bass and midbass attack too, and let a couple of 12 or 15 inch woofers do the subwoofer duties

LG OLED65B7P.
Anthem AVM60 , Anthem MCA525 .
Panasonic DP-UB820 UHD player .
Paradigm Studio CC690 V5 centre channel , Studio 100 V5’s front and rear . Paradigm PW-2200 subwoofer

Did you use different crossovers for the vertical left and right vs the horizontal center channel?

I have 3 vertical 1299's but want to change the center to a horizontal orientation. I'll be ordering a new baffle but didnt know if I need a new crossover as well.

I used the same crossover for the LR as well as the center. I bought the PCB boards from Matt (who was very helpful) and I just soldered the crossover components onto it. However the Left and right compression drivers were noted as such compared to the center, for apparently they are matched or ever so slightly more similar in their responses.
