That’s kind of a loaded question Jeremy. Who wouldn’t want to stop by and have their organ rearranged?

But seriously, I know I’d love to hear the theater with the 21s in the back.

Come for the bass, stay due to structural instabilities.

My wife is going to kill me when the 21DS115 becomes horn loaded

You can always turn it down, but you can only turn it up so much (before you run out of power, excursion or structural integrity).

One of you guys might want to try a BOSS system underneath at least one, or a few of the seats for the gtg. It's inexpensive and I honestly was expecting it to be gimmicky and hokey, but it is just the opposite. Even with a floating floor and plenty of subwoofage, that tactile platform adds a whole new layer to the experience.

Jeremy is on a suspended floor, and his 4 21’s almost make you motion sick. Lol
I have buttkickers and nearfield, so it’s pretty tactile.

Quoted for truth!

The only other step for these guys is to pay someone to sit behind you and physically punch and shake you.

I'd be interested in attending again. We know @Jk7.2 will have some new living room speakers by then. Plus I had to leave early last time do to the snow coming. Took forever to get home.

I also wouldn't mind doing some speaker comparisons. I didn't get to stay for the 2 channel listening at mtbdudex's GTG. I'd like to bring the volt 10s and compare them to the HT-8's if haven't built them already.

We could easily do speaker comparison in my living room. Let’s plan this.

Awesome. Also, if I can find it, I have an old RadioShack A/B speaker selector I can bring. This would allow us to switch back and forth between speakers on the fly. Not sure if you guys did this last time. I might have a larger one but I know I have at least a 2 speaker selector.

We always swap the speaker so it’s in the same location as the previous if possible. Banana plugs make it easy.

Ya might not wanna go to mikes, Kevin. I know he contributed to Jeremy’s and to my bass addiction. His is the only place where I’ve heard bass so loud it’s almost impossible to exaggerate when you try and explain it to others.
But yeah, having these guys around is awesome. I had a moment at my place where I looked over at Matt and Mike, and was in awe they were at my place! They both had a positive impact on my HT for sure.

Seconded. Mike is the reason I'm this close to ordering the titan xxl when they are back in stock. He's also the reason I have 2 B&C 21s.

Well said and it is so true do not go to Mikes it will put you down that rabbit hole and you will never see the light. Why do you think Mikes AVS name is in my thread name he is a bad, a very bad influence (in a good way)

I'd be interested in coming down if the timing works out, and if @Mahuzz and @philly_03 want to make another cross border run!

I'd love to watch a whole movie. I got sucked in to Deepwater Horizon and Transformers pretty hard last time. We could almost just rotate seats every 15 minutes or so.

I missed the one in January, but would hope/plan to be able to make this one. It would just depend on when?

Southeast Michigan 2019 diy gtg tour

Jeremy looks like we’re gonna have another large group! This is cool guys so glad to see all the interest. I’m working on a new 2 channel living room rig, and my HT will be hopefully tweaked more with velvet on more of the ceiling and possibly a barn door on the side opening. I’m not onboard completely yet to enclose the back of the room with a wall infront of the stairs. We’ll see. Lots of work to do!
