Juggernog Full Marties

Recently, I finished converting 2/3 of my garage into a theater / gaming room. We went with two themes. The front wall is a video game called Call of Duty, Zombies. The back wall is from a TV cartoon series calls Avatar, The Last Air Bender. Each area has things that are commonly known to their respective themes. This build is for the front wall Call of Duty theme. In the video game, there's several ways to make your character stronger. They are called "perks" and can be bought from "perk machines. Im building my Fusion 10s and UM18 Full Marties into full size "Juggernog" perk machine. The actual machine in the game stands 8' tall, but mine will only be about 7'4". I didn't want it that close to the ceiling. Ive attached pics from the game, some 3d renders of the room, and actual pics of the room as it sits today. Right now, the Juggernog Martie #1 is nearly ready for painting. Ill attach some more pics of the cabinet in the next post.

The exterior dimensions are 70" tall 20" deep 22" wide. The net internal volume is 11ft^3 tuned to 16Hz. The port dimensions are 2.5" tall 18" wide 40" long. The shelf will hold a Fusion10. These will be painted to look as close to the original Juggernog machine as I can. Although I've been painting cars for 23 years, this is not like any paint job I've ever attempted, but I'm confident I can make it happen. The plywood piece is just because I had a piece lying around that fit.

Looks cool man 👍

I have thought about getting an old glass bottle vending machine and redoing it as a nuka cola machine. Then have some Nuka cola labels made to wrap over Coca Cola bottles to put in there or just buy the quantum drink 🙂

I passed on an opportunity to get a Juggernog mini fridge last year. Wish I had it now, would be perfect in the room.

I decided to put this one into service while I build the second one. Better to find out something is wrong now then after its finished. That graph is with no EQ. I ran a frequency generator to see what the tune is, looks like between 15-16Hz. I was aiming for 16. No impressions yet, I finished late.

I'm not that fast. Might have it built. The paint is going to take a while. Besides, there's this needy dude down the road needs help with his lame room.

I had a repair guy in my house a couple days age. One time as he was walking through the room, he stopped and asked if that was a Mystery Box under the screen. Needless to say, I was ecstatic. Nailed It!

Playing Blackops 4 with subs is an awesome experience. Can feel the gunshots. My wife plays zombies and it scares her, she has to turn it down.

Most of the zombies to this point were ok. They really stepped up their game on Black Ops 4. It actually has 7.1 surround, and the developers took into consideration people playing with powered subwoofers and shakers. The low end is much improved in this game.

This is Juggernog Martie #2 from this weekend. The back and bottom were glued on last night but my battery died before I could snap some pics. Had to do the family thing Saturday so I wasn't able to finish. Looks like tonight I'll cut the driver and port holes, dampen the top section and glue on the top. Really looking forward to painting these things.

Right now latex paint with a roller. They are meant to look old and weathered. As for the writing, Ill try to do that by hand. I used to do tattoos many many years ago so that's definitely something that I should be able to do. Just need some practice.
