Was there going to be updates to the Volt line or am I getting my wires crossed?

No change besides the switch from the DNA-150 compression drivers to Celestion compression drivers which happened last year.

The coaxial designs currently being worked on are a whole new line offering a big jump in audio quality and performance over the Volts. They will be quite a bit more expensive as well so they will not be replacing the Volts either.

And I presume these new coaxials won't have a nice 7" depth either

A 12" Volt sized speaker would be awesome.

I just bumped the dormant new coax thread since discussion had scattered to other threads like this one. Keeping all of the new coax info in that thread will make it easier for folks to keep up with.

Still patiently waiting for the new stuff myself! Going to do a build in September-ish for LCR, unless I can find something gently used locally.

Pretty sure the 893 being discussed would be the matching CC for any HT/HTM channels.

That would surprise me, as the 893 is a 3-way design and as far as I can recall does not incorporate a SEOS waveguide.

I've got 3 HT12s on order. It will be my first time trying out DIYSG products. All of the builds I've read about on here say their products are awesome so my expectations are high. I wish I would have ordered sooner so i could make them a project for the long weekend.

I'll be interested to see how much of a difference there is between these and the PSA 110s I'm currently using.

What is the real performance difference between the EOS tweeter in the fusion series and the SEOS tweeter in the 893 ? A little different? A whole different level of performance or what?

Be sure to do a build thread and I'm looking forward to your impression of them. I plan to order 3 eventually for use as LCR behind my AT screen.
