Or bring the TV out further to the front of the stand? Looks like you've got 3, maybe 4 inches to play with there?

Or, a full articulating wall mount, and pull it out from the wall to clear the speakers. Yeah, that would look good from the sides of the TV...

That’s what I did, articulating wall mount.

I did too, but my post was rather sarcastic as I believe the sides of the TV in Jared's setup are both exposed (no corners, single flat wall), not sure that would be a good look for that space.

That’s what I do. Roll it out. There will be bubbles. Let it stand for a few minutes. Then roll over it again super light. Like no pressure light.

Thanks Mike. They sound good! I’m happy with how that part turned out. I think they look cool too. They are big in this room though.

Excellent work. Can't wait to hear them in a couple months.

On a side note, have you seen the latest site update from DIYSoundGroup?

Your Jedi senses serve you well!
Yeah I saw it. Sounds exciting.
Thanks for your compliments. I’m getting used to the size of these. I’m not sure I’ll be keeping them where they are at least. If anyone wanted them I would let them go. I should’ve done a full scale mock-up before building them. They are large.

So despite not being excited about the size of these, I have been playing around with them and enjoying the sound. I have tried all sorts of crossover settings. I strongly prefer the 80hz crossover between the 12” and the htm-8. I ran the 12 up higher and didn’t like it. I like stronger bass, so the level didn’t match up right with the crossover up that high, and having the inuke cranked a little extra. But it’s a pleasant sound for sure! Satisfying bass in my open room, the highs are clear and not too bright in this untreated space, and even when in my kitchen cooking or eating, the speakers sound good! So I’m happy. I will be building 2 more ported subs for the buyout 15s I have here. Those I’ll try with the HT8’s I picked up and built. I’m thinking that will fit this space better, have deeper extension and more spl, and not block the tv! Hey I’ll admit. Not all of my ideas are great.
