The Titan isn't a particularly small speaker, you might need to listen a few feet away from the baffle for proper driver integration.

How big is the desk? Are you running a Titan center channel as well?

Wow, 48 inch high by 25 inch wide and 12 inch deep speakers on a desk top? Must be some big desk.
