Full marty help. Please make sure I have all the rights parts for my build.

What else do I need for dual full martys? I am using the following
Receiver is denon 4400. I also plan to in the near future to get seat kickers. so I may need 2 y splitters?

Not sure which drivers I will use yet.

https://www.parts-express.com/behrin...fier--248-7014

https://www.parts-express.com/dayton...-coil--295-518

Or https://www.parts-express.com/dayton...4-ohm--295-472

I want to make sure I am not forgetting anything. I already have all the wood.

speaker wire. 12G or 14G. Not sure how much I'll need. Anyone know how many feet I need for 1 cable run for this?

speakon connectors https://www.parts-express.com/neutri...mount--092-054

speakon cable to go to the pro amp. https://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_...seq=1&format=2

Y splitter.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000068O16..._Cfd8CbWWVZMT4

Anything I am forgetting, or did wrong?
Thank you anyone for helping.

Hey I’m new to this build but am in the middle of a full Marty build myself from everything I read you need a amp with DSP for the HPF (High pads filter) so you’ll actually need the NX6000D which is $100 more but has a built in DSP

(I can’t post the link but just bought one from parts express for $550) like 4 days ago they also had a Memorial Day coupon I don’t know if it’s still good ($50 off $500 and $25 off $200 or something like that)

Also assuming you don’t have any XLR to RCA cables you’ll need this to go from the NX6000D to your receiver

Monoprice XLR Male to RCA Male Cable - 6 Feet -

If you have prime they have the six foot for like $6 (wish the 3ft was as cheap but it was double the price)

Screws to mount the driver.

Gasket tape to go between the driver and the baffle.

Whatever you're using to connect the internal wire to the Speakon connectors and speaker terminals (spade connectors, solder, etc.)

As Austin-scott mentioned, some form of DSP. Either the NX6kD, or a miniDSP.

As much as would be required to get from wherever you put the speakon connector on the cab to the cutout for the driver, plus ~6 - 8 inches. Just grab the shortest roll from Monoprice (looks to be 50' these days): https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-102.../dp/B001UNGJF6

Plus spade connectors for each end (speakon and driver).

If you go on the GSG website they have fantastic parts lists and detailed set-up instructions for Marty subs. While you're there, you should take a look at their pre-cut MDF kits for every variation of Marty sub. They're idiot proof (as this idiot can attest), and sound phenomenal.

Why do I not need a splitter if I want dual subs and dual seat kickers?

Thank you for the help.

You can drive the NX6k with a single sub out from the AVR-X4400, using Biamp mode to drive both Marty subs.

Use the other sub out on the 4400 to drive the amp for the kickers.

One sub out from your receiver goes to the subwoofer amp. Then speaker wire from the amp to the subwoofers.

The other sub out from your receiver goes to the buttkicker amp. Then speaker wire from that amp to the buttkickers.

How much soldering will I need to do? Can I just use spades and crush the wire?

That's correct, you don't need to solder at all if you don't want to. I just have a soldering iron that's handy and like to solder after crushing the spade onto the wire. It's not necessary though.

Is there a place I can buy like 10 at, at a decent price? Amazon only has them in bulk.
