MBM 15LX question.

Hi,
I am interested in building four MBM-15LX for the home theater. Wondering how many of these can be driven by a single iNuke3000DSP.
I have looked at other Midbass modules and subs, but MBM-15LX shallow version (12 inch depth) is the only one that would fit in my shallow baffle wall. Even the VBSS and Flex-12 depth is more than my baffle wall depth.
I have not built my LCR yet. it would be either Titans or HTM-12s. both are out-of-stock now. I already have couple of UM-18s to handle ultra low freq.
If any of you have used this MBM please let me know how many of these can be driven by single inuke3000DSP and how you wire them. Is there a need to have a limiter.

Thanks
Manu

MBM 15LX question.

Have you considered just going with dual woofer titans, which just adds a mbm-15 to each speaker. When I crank mine up when set to full range and no subs, there is tons of bass. You could then run each speaker up front off of its own inuke 3k. That would be sweet, and much like @eng-399 setup. Mine are just run off of an emotiva xpa-7.

I agree I have tons of bass from my dual 15” drivers. The box is kind of big for mains but if you have a AT screen you’ll never see it. There is a lot of tweaking though and your going to have to level match the waveguide to the dual 15’s.

Thank you.
I dont see Dual woofer Titan listed on Eric's site. is that a custom build ?
my plan was to run LCR on AVR power and use a single external amp to power all subs (except my 2 UM18s)
this setup may require more amps. however I would like to know more of this setup.

thanks
Manu

Thats what I thought. it may require some tweaking. if the subs are not part of the mains and crossed at 80Hz then I have a freedom to move the subs anywhere inside the baffle wall.

I did similar too, i added 12" mbms under my mains and turned them into double woofers. Very easy with dsp, cut the main woofer 3db at the right point and add in the mbm. Many benefits
