I would recommend a SpeakerPower 6k or PowerSoft K10 or FP14k.
If you plan on having more than 2 24's, then the XBS FP20k holds good value.
The only problems with the clone amps are:
a) no (honored) warranty
b) you have to get a working one via luck
If you can look past all that, they do give Crown iTech 12k-like performance for <$1000, which is hard to ignore...
That said: the iTech and PowerSoft have PFC; the non-PLM gruppens, speakerpower, clones, inukes and cheaper crowns don't.
Low PF puts more stress on the upstream grid/breakers, but most/all residential services don't have to pay extra for low PF equipment (and thus: don't really care.
If my memory is correct NotNyt showed that many of the clones draw bursts of like 1-200a (each), 120 times a second... where as the PFC amps draw a clean-ish 20-30a sinewave. (On that note: I'm surprised I haven't melted the transformers outside my house yet! Time to add more subwoofers!
