1000w amp acquired - is it any good and now where to go

I have seized a Velodyne 1000w Amp to use for my next build, does it look like a good quality amp to you guys?

I currently have an 18" Sealed Dayton HO and I am looking for another build and suggestions on where to go. I'm thinking end table and sealed also for practicality reasons already having a sealed sub. i don't think I can go 18 due to space constraints so 15 would probably be the absolute max really, would eq'ing a sealed 15 with a sealed 18 be a fairly easy task if i stuck with the same range of subwoofer line - Dayton 15" HO for example?

Other than that I'm open to suggestions. Cant really fit any behind the couch unfortunately and can only have an end table on one side as the other side has about a 10" narrow gap close to the wall.

What are your overall size constraints?

Personally, I like matching subs. With that in mind, if you can squeeze a 20"x20"x20" cube, then you should be able to do another 18"HO.

2006 revision SPL-R 1000? They are known for putting out valid-power, but also known for failing randomly...

I can try, but it will be a squeeze, I too would preferably match if I could

Well the power thing is good but the age and reliability is a bit of a bummer, is it repairable failures or complete meltdown of something vital inside do you know?. It was a good price to be honest so I'm not devastated and will obviously just use it as long as it lasts unless can send it off for repair should the worst happen
