Ceiling Speakers back boxs

Putting in RSL into the ceiling so making up some back boxs for them before the drywall goes up. They will be going between the floor joist above so the distance I have to work with is 400mm (15.748 inchs) wide (between joist) and 200mm (7.8 inchs) deep.

I can make them any length along the floor joist.

Any recommendations on how long I should make them.

@koolego I too have been looking at these and from what I have read the bass gets choked a little but the enclosure should be over 1 ft3.

@ack_bk built backer boxers for his, maybe he can chime in?
