NX6000D Settings Check

Hello,

Do these settings look okay for my HST-18 subwoofer?
Do I set the Peak Limiter Dial under the confirguration tab to something. Do I put 4 ohms below it and make it show 3020 watts?

I have already changed the gain on the Filter/Crossover tab to +8db to counteract the changes i made to make the HPF at 13hz.

Once all 4 of these check out, I will then do the REW program with UMIK CSL calibration to get my subwoofer graphs.

Thanks in advance.

You can leave the limiter at 0dB, no need to limit this amp with it powering an HST-18.

+1 to the comment above.

it's typically best to start with the phase on the NX6000 set to 180.

Personally, I'd still be comfortable running with the limiter at 0dB, but if you want to be conservative you could set it to something like -2dB.

if blasting music, then i'd stay under the rated driver power. for movies most folks just let 'em rip. i've not heard of a um18 being cooked on movie content, though there have been a couple of high spl music casualties.
