Ultimax 18 to NX6000D

I have 2 of the Ultimax 18s I bought a while ago and just ordered the DIYSG Sledge 4ft3 boxes for them.

This is my first sub build.

What's the connection method....AVR (Marantz 6011) to NX6000D to Sub. I see XLR, SPeakon, TRS, TS. Not sure what is what and what I need.

Help with links to products?

Need AVR out to AMP in cable....AMP out to Sub in cable....and Sub input terminal

AVR -> NX6k - https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-XLR.../dp/B001VLW398
4-pole SpeakOn from NX6k to box, I use 12AWG speaker wire in between.
I prefer these on the box: https://www.amazon.com/Neutrik-Panel.../dp/B00067JSFK

Sub builds: Yet another Infinity 1260 build | Twins! | Modified V.B.S.S. build | UM12-22 builds | AV stand and sealed UM18s

Speaker builds: DIYSG HTM-10 build | DIYSG Volt-6 build | DIYSG Fusion-8 builds

Ok thanks. Will have to look into these. Are speakon the preferred connection?

4 pole means 4 separate wires?

You use two wires, connected to the +1 and -1 inserts in your Neutrik connectors (just leave the +2 and -2 slots empty). For connectors, I like to use a straight neutrik NL4 connector on the amp side and a right angle NL4 connector on the sub side, because it allows for closer placement to the wall.

SPEAKERS: 3 x DIYSG 1099's LCR; DIYSG HTM 6's and 8's surround; 4 x RSL C34E's atmos.
SUBS: 4 x UM18-22 Mini Marty's and 2 x 21DS114-4 Devastators
SIGNAL CHAIN: Denon X4400; Minidsp 2x4 HD; 2 x Jensen Iso Sub 2RX; 3 x NX6000d.

They are my preferred connection. Many here use them as well.

4 pole is the number of connections in the SpeakOn itself, allows for options down the road (bridging, multiple connections, etc.). 2 wire between the SpeakOns is probably the most common use, +1/-1.

Thoughts on the crown xli 2500 vs the nx6000D?

Any comparison I find seems to be for the last model of inuke. Not sure if the new models are better.... quieter
