Question Help needed for second Subwoofer

Hi Guys,

I am working on my home theater and need help to find a second subwoofer (design and subwoofer).

Current Subwoofer and other info
- I have one mini-Marty with UM18 and iNuke 6000DSP.
- Due to previous home space constraints, the woofer is installed on length side (2x2 side). Sub was laying flat on floor facing to the front.
- Can I design the other sub standing upright now ? or have to follow same design ?
- Both subs would go behind the projector screen.
- Any other design subwoofer which is better and will complement what I already have ?
- space behind screen is 2.5' (Room Dimensions W10' X H8' X L21')
- Which subwoofer ? UM18 ? LaVoce SAN184.03? any other ?
- Budget is flexible but not as flexible as NSW6021-6
- Don't listen to reference levels
- Future HT speakers would be from DISG (Kef's as of now)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It has my vote! The Devastators are very articulate in delivery, but they can take that to down right brutal when called upon. I like my little Mini V1s, this box with a SAN is a big step up from that

This is the way...
Stormbreaker | WI HT Meet Thread | The Devastator Index | Dual Mini Devastator Build
7.2.4 | A3070 | XLS 1502 | 3000DSP | 2x Aphex 124A | 2x Bic EV15 | 7x Bic FH6 LCR | 2x Bic FH65-B | Epson 5010e | 120" DIY AT Screen | 2x Mini Devastators

Closet thing I had to the Mini Marty is my ported 21DS115. The Mini Devs are cleaner in presentation than even the B&C. I am running a lot less power on the Minis and they are positioned differently from the ported DS. Low end is pretty similar due to the trade-offs I made. I would take the Minis 9 times out of 10. The Version of the Devastator you are looking at should match the DS low end and beat it anywhere else. How quickly a sub gets to 30Hz from 20Hz is important due to room gain. The Devastators get up and moving faster than most ported rivals. I still like a 17Hz tune if possible.
